Job Description:
As an Engineer of the Performance and API Services team at Yodlee, you will be responsible for partnering with our Professional services and Customer Care team to evaluate and suggest the optimal solution for our new customers. In this position, you will utilize your performance testing skills to evaluate customer integrations with the Yodlee product and web services API. You will leverage your analytical skills to drill down the issue up to the resolution and your communication skills to work with customers to optimize implementations of Yodlee services.
Job Responsibilities:
Execution of performance checklist for the clients in the pipe line for launch.
Follow up with respective teams to close the identified defects.
Analysis of specific performance issues identified by the client/internal team during or prior to client launch.
Interaction with the client to clarify their doubts and quires related to performance.
Performance evaluation of the Yodlee APIs.
Understand the flow of the APIs and suggest the area of improvement.
Work with several internal teams to improve API performance.
Keep yourself updated with the latest technology in the industry.
Required Experience and Skill:
Ideally, you will be self-directed, highly motivated and able to demonstrate your technical expertise and ability to communicate to the hard core developers. You will be comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a financial technology organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must have 1 - 2 years of work experience in JAVA and in any other scripting languages (Shell, Perl etc).
1. You have a desire and working knowledge of SQL.
2. You have strong understanding of web application architectures (Jboss, Resin and Apache).
3. You have strong knowledge in Operating System (Linux and Solaris).
4. You have strong knowledge of performance evaluation factors and working on the remedy.
5. You have strong communication skills.
6. You’ve proven your ability to work successfully in a dynamic environment with a strong passion for team success.
7. And if you have experience with Ruby, PHP….well let’s just say you have a big leg up.
8. It would be really cool if you had experience with REST APIs.
